Greenpoint’s hottest club isn’t Ponyboy or Good Room — it’s actually the Polish and Slavic Center (this isn’t the first time I’ve used this rhetorical device, I apologize).
The Polish and Slavic Center (176 Java Street) has been hosting disco nights with a decidedly Polish spin.
The next one will take place this Saturday night, August 27. Tickets are $20 online ($25 at the door) and you can purchase them here. Tickets include a complimentary welcome drink.
According to a recent Instagram post, an event earlier in August featured snacks like pierogies, skewers, and sausages served by Kaskade. That event also saw 250 participants.
Here’s hoping for a similar food spread and turnout. Honestly, it looks pretty fun!
